calligraphy and are ready to jump into

the study of this fascinating art, this is

the place to start! In this class you will

learn the basic fundamentals essential

to all future calligraphy studies, while

learning to write in the uncial lettering

style, which is one of the easiest styles of calligraphy to learn. You will also have a chance to view a wide variety of calligraphic works for inspiration and guidance, with some fun surprises along the way!

The process is actually fairly straightforward, and in this class you'll discover the secrets to tying and untying those knots easily! We will start from scratch, and then continue on into greater depth and more complex and intriguing knot patterns. We will also discuss colors and shading of the resulting knots.

Remember macramé in the “70’s? Well, this isn’t that! In this class you will learn to macramé fun and colorful bracelets with beads! After you learn the technique, you can make as many bracelets as time allows. Stacking a variety of colors on your arms is stylish and complements any wardrobe…and it’s fun!

We need a minimum of 4 people to hold this class.

This class is for the beginner or the artist wanting to expand and develop their knowledge in the are of watercolor. Explore warm and cool colors, negative painting, lifting techniques and different brushwork. You will become familiar with the medium through a Hands-on approach. Monitoring and guidance through each excercise and painting will be provided by the instructor.
