HOLIDAY GLASS AND RESIN ORNAMENT WORKSHOP WITH KAREN GOLD

Come have some fun and make holiday ornaments for gifts or keepsake treasures! You will make three ornaments with stained glass, a multitude of baubles and epoxy resin. You don’t need to be an artist, but you do need to let yourself play!
Glass cutting and using a glass grinder instruction will be provided as well as all materials.
Children 12 and over welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Please note: Epoxy resin takes 24 hours to dry so plan to leave your ornaments overnight or bring a cardboard box to carefully transport them home.

Modern Still Life in Watercolor with Amy Jamison

In this class, students will discuss still life and the advantages of using still life to improve your observational skills and techniques . Amy will guide you through her process from start to finish. Wet on wet and wet on dry techniques will be discussed, as well as value and how to accomplish all values on the value scale with watercolor. Come brighten up your December with a day of vibrant watercolor painting! This workshop is for anyone wanting to improve their control over watercolors and is best for those with some watercolor experience.

Going The Distance with Lee Copin

In this workshop, Lee will be focusing on creating realistic depth and atmospheric perspective in your landscape painting.
Lee Copen is a retired art teacher from Mountain View, Mo.
She travels around the country to invitational pleinaire events where she has won many awards for her realistic paintings.
Her work is found in many public and private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
