The perfect Mother’s Day fun! We will create a finished acrylic painting of a rose. This step-by-step class has all materials provided. You will have a 6x6 painting at the end of class. Grab a group of friends, your mom, grandma, or just treat yourself! You are welcome to bring a beverage of your choice.
MOAM resident artist, Dawn Miller will guide you every step of the way. Dawn is an award-winning artist who loves to create paintings that bring joy and peace to our hectic lives. She has over 20 years of experience teaching art. Class is one session and limited to 10 students.

Lovin’ the Landscapes with Dawn Miller

This weekend workshop will help you jump into creating colorful oil landscapes. Topics include materials, studio set up, planning your composition, drawing on your canvas and more. This class is essential for those who love or would love to know more about oils and painting the landscape. At the end of this class, you will have two paintings started and inspiration to keep going to the finish line. Class is completely indoors. Lunch is on your own. Brown bag it or explore the restaurants nearby. Drinks provided. Come alone or invite a friend and enjoy the weekend together painting!

Sculpting In Relief with Adam Long
Create a wall-hanging sculpture with Master Sculptor Adam Long
Learn to sculpt a wall-hanging relief sculpture! All ability levels are welcome! You will receive instruction and encouragement as you sculpt your own design, create a simple mold of it and cast your finished wall hanging artwork in reinforced plaster. This class meets each Wednesday in April for two (2) hours. All materials are included in the cost of the course. Don’t miss this great opportunity!
Your instructor, Adam Long, is an internationally collected, award winning artist. He holds a Masters of Art in Studio Art Emphasis Drawing and a Masters of Fine Art in Sculpture.

Cost: $120 (includes all materials needed to produce one sculpture, sculpting clay, tools and instructional handouts). $110 for returning students.
Notes:
- You will be working with plaster during the third and fourth week so an apron or smock is recommended (instructor will have some for student use).
- All ages are welcome! Under 18 please have a parent or guardian nearby.

Watercolor Classes with Joyce Rothermich

This class is for the beginner or the artist wanting to expand and develop their knowledge of watercolor painting. You will explore warm and cool colors, negative painting, lifting techniques and different brushwork. You will become familiar with the medium through a “hands-on” approach. Monitoring and guidance through each exercise and painting will be provided by the instructor. A supply list will be provided.
